Anaru Telecom LLC provides professional copper and fiber optic cable certification testing for data centers, commercial businesses, schools, government facilities, and industrial sites throughout Houston, Texas, and the surrounding areas. Whether we installed the cabling ourselves or you need an independent verification of an existing plant, every run is tested with Fluke Networks certification equipment and measured against current industry standards, giving you a documented, third-party-defensible record that the infrastructure performs as designed before it ever goes live.
For copper runs, we use Fluke Networks DSX Series CableAnalyzers to certify Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and Cat8 cabling to the applicable TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801 performance standards. Each link is tested for wire map, length, insertion loss, NEXT, PSNEXT, return loss, and propagation delay, and every result is stamped Pass or Fail against the standard's defined limits so there is no ambiguity about whether a link meets spec. Testing is performed at the appropriate category and channel or permanent link configuration, and results are saved and exported for the official certification report.
For fiber optic backbone and horizontal runs, we certify single-mode and multi-mode fiber (OM3, OM4, OS2) using Fluke Networks OptiFiber Pro OTDRs and optical loss test sets (OLTS), following TIA-568.3-D and ISO/IEC 14763-3 test procedures. Tier 1 certification confirms end-to-end insertion loss and length against the calculated loss budget for the link, while Tier 2 OTDR testing provides a full trace showing every connector, splice, and any event along the fiber, which is invaluable for troubleshooting and for verifying fusion splices on fiber optic installations before they are turned over to the client.
Certification requirements differ by facility, and we test accordingly. In data center installations, we certify backbone and horizontal cabling to TIA-942 data center standards, since uncertified links can jeopardize uptime commitments and SLAs. In commercial office buildings, certification supports lease turnover requirements and manufacturer warranty registration. In schools and government facilities, certified cabling is often a funding or grant requirement, and we provide the documentation needed for E-Rate and other compliance reviews. In industrial settings, we account for longer cable runs, EMI from nearby machinery, and harsh environments that can affect copper and fiber performance, adjusting test parameters accordingly.
Every project is delivered with a complete certification report, exported directly from the Fluke test set, showing individual Pass/Fail results for every link along with summary statistics for the full project. Reports are provided in digital format and can be tied back to the cable identification and labeling scheme used on site, so a failed or marginal link can be traced back to its exact physical location in minutes. Certified results also support manufacturer extended warranty registration through partners like Panduit, CommScope, Leviton, and Corning, giving you both proof of performance and long-term coverage on the installed cabling plant.
